Seems like Nokia isn’t going to stop itself from launching devices one after the other, and there is no waiting for the big events as they surprisingly launched the Nokia Lumia 620 mobile phone at the LeWeb 2012 in Paris, and it is an entry level Windows Phone product after the recently launched Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 handsets. The Lumia 620 comes with the dual-shot color technique which adds color blending by adding a second layer of polycarbonate on the base layer.
“We continue to execute on our strategy to reach new audiences and new markets,” said Jo Harlow, executive vice president, Nokia Smart Devices. “With its innovative design, the latest Windows Phone 8 software and signature experiences from Nokia, like Nokia lenses, Nokia Maps and Nokia Music, the Nokia Lumia 620 is a highly competitive smartphone at this price point.”

The five megapixel camera of the Nokia Lumia 620 has got the special lens which would make the capturing a lot better, just like those of the Lumia 920 and 820, and there is a front facing VGA camera too. The Cinemagraph lens would add animations to the still photographs, while there is a Smart Shoot option which would make a single perfect image from the multiple captures done in a sequence. One of the excellent features of the Smart Shoot is that you get to remove the objects which are unwanted from the picture.
The Lumia 620 is powered by the Windows Phone 8 Operating System which has seen a lot of changes from the previous version, as the tiles are now totally adjustable with the size and position, and the People Hub app bringing together all the contacts from your phone book and even the social networks. There’s quite a lot of changes made in the Windows Phone 8 OS which can be noticed if you are a previous Windows Phone user. The City Lens in the Nokia Maps would help in showing what all is around the place where you are located, just like an Xray view of the area when you use the camera.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon(TM) S4 Plus processors clocking at 1GHz would keep the speed of the Lumia 620 to its best and there is a 3.8-inch TFT screen with the WVGA resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The camera on the rear side is assisted with an LED flash, and the camera is capable to capture videos at 720p quality. The phone would pack a 1300 mAh battery, and we have no confirmation whether the battery is removable or not.

Nokia Lumia 620 Pricing and Availability
The Lumia 620 is priced at around $249 USD and this pricing is pretty good when compared to the the pricing of the HTC 8S which is priced quite high, and the availability of this device is somewhere around the 1st quarter of 2013.
Considering that the Nokia Lumia 620 has got most of the Nokia dedicated apps that are seen even in the high-end Nokia Windows Phone devices, this could be a pretty good deal where you can choose from one of the many color options available.
